Burps Happen began about 8 years ago just
before my son Zachary was born. I had gone in search of a
really great burpie and came up with nothing. I then thought to myself, what the world needs is a burpie that is both soft and absorbent and has some style too. If I was looking for something along those lines, surely other mothers would be too. I was very lucky to find a very talented and concientious sewing contractor named Marilyn Endoh. With her help and advice, I was able to launch Burps Happen. Originally, the Burps Happen burpies came in a range of pastel colors. About 5 years ago, I began decorating burpies with patches and added coordinating two piece outfits. Since then, blankets and dresses have been added in order to complete the line.
Im lucky enough to have been blessed with a close knit group of friends and family who have helped make Burps Happen what it is today. In fact, one of my long time best friends has recently become my partner in this endeavor. Ilyse brings both creativity and a business background to the line. Together we have updated the line and have introduced many new and exciting designs.
Along
the way, we have counted on Caroline's children to be our discerning product testers as well as models. They are the first to let us know if something is not right!
Our business is truly a labor of love for both of us. We hope you enjoy our clothing as much as we enjoy making it!
